Jill-e Camera Bags: High Fashion, High Function

Written by Eric Reagan on March 10th, 2009 | 0 Comments

Tucked away in the far corner of the second floor at PMA were some very cool camera bags for the ladies.  Jill-e Designs makes pro-caliber camera bags with an extra serving of style (check back tomorrow to see what Jill-e is doing for the guys).  While they aren’t exactly inexpensive bags, when you consider what you would pay for a quality camera bag made of nylon, the premium for a little style is not really too much of a jump.  Jill-e camera bags are available from a number of retailers, including Adorama.com.

While the Jill bags are very pretty on the outside, they are true camera bags on the inside, complete with removable velcro panels for customizing your camera and lens-toting arrangement.

Here’s the rundown on the latest from Jill-e Designs:

The newest additions to the jill-e designs portfolio include a compact, all-purpose, weatherproof bag that’s perfect for a video camera or larger point-and-shoot camera.  This bag comes in black or red leather with a stylish white contrast stitch.  It features an easy-access zippered main compartment, a storage compartment with internal netted pocket, detachable shoulder and wrist straps for versatility and convenience, and a playful polka-dot interior.

In addition, jill-e designs is introducing an oversized leather rolling bag with telescoping handle and a variety of pockets and configurable storage areas that can accommodate virtually every piece of equipment a photographer might want to bring along – including a 17-inch laptop computer.  This high-performance bag is available in black leather with a white contrast stitch and gold hardware accents.
