I would like to use it in place of a proof book.

Can the files be locked to protect my work?

I am very interested in this item. Where can I see one in person.
I would like to know if I can play MP4 files of my photoshows, that have animated photos, video and music? (See sample of photoshow on my website).

This looks like a very cool device and I would enjoy testing it out. However I could see me not committing to it for a few reasons.

1) yes it would be much more convenient than using my laptop, however the display is too small and the resolution is too low. A display that would be around 11 inches and at least 1024x768 would be my requirements to show off my images at their best
2) it would be a nice product to offer clients but can see very few going for it due to the area I live in and the average lower income and budget my clients have for their wedding photography. I could see this selling easier for photog's that are in a large city and specialize in more 'affluent' clients than what my area of residence/business offers me.
3) it would be a secondary 'nice to have and show' to clients as my primary will always remain traditional prints. clients like to see large 11x14 prints as they want to see what the images will look like printed and on their wall. large prints shown to clients would remain my number one display choice where this small LCD would be a fun convenient way to show off my work if I had it in the car with me and not my other portfolio 'stuff'. a quick and convenient tool.

Cool idea though, and it is good that music can be played when it slide shows as that makes a world of difference when presenting images using a digital slideshow.

I can see a tool like this becoming more commonly used as the tech improves. LED backlight (or OLED even better) and it having a larger display and higher resolution would make it very attractive to those that need or insist on the best.
