		<description>Hmm.  Very interesting.  It&#039;s tempting, I have to say.  I promised myself I wouldn&#039;t buy any more DX lenses (especially when you can get a new 50mm f/1.8 that&#039;s an FX-compatible lens for $100 on eBay).  Still, for a lightweight carry-around lens coupled to a minimalistic D40x or so, that would be a hellacious backpacking setup.
