We are really tired to pay that much money for a camera body or a good lens. In US or in ASIA, the price are so much better than here. Actually if you compare the prices, we can see that sometime the price in Euros is the same that the one in US dollars, do you see the problem? Europe is of course a better money now and then too bad for us, "poor" Europeans. And if we buy our camera bodies outside Europe, we get caught by the border police and must pay so much that it's like we bought the camera in our own country.
