Canon EOS 7D Mockups

Written by Eric on September 7th, 2008 | 1 Comment

Several ad spots for the Canon EOS 7D surfaced around the forums today.  Unfortunately for those of you itching to see what’s next from Canon, they look to be faked mockup ads. Good Photoshop work though if they are fake.

As an aside, I’m not sure why Canon’s tag line would be “Delighting You Always.” (Keep the comments PG.)

A couple more (probably fake) ads after the break which show off the inconsistencies among the ads.

The top is the only one that makes sense to me, other than the strange tagline you pointed out. I know putting a 50 1.4 on the bodies is standard, but why wouldn’t they put the 24-105 F4L IS that they currently advertise as the kit lens? And the 3rd one… a Digic III?

Bottom line, 7D or 5D mk II, I hope Canon’s delivers a new FF update, I’m ready to upgrade from my 20D.
