However, the 50D sensor does have more pixel resolution than the D3 and Canon also claimed major advance in noise level with the 50D. One spot I noticed with a misspelled word:

I'm not sure, yet, that it's a better choice for me than the Nikon D80, but I think it might. On the retail side, I do not expect any sellers to be able to drop prices for until about March and then not by much. There is just not much margin on these.
