Digital Camera Innovator Touts Slimmest Model with Lili “La Flaca” Estefan

New York, NY (June 12, 2008)—Lili Estefan, the beloved co-host of “El Gordo y La Flaca” (”The Fat Man and The Thin Woman”), is lending her slim frame to promote the launch of Casio’s EXILIM EX-S10 digital camera into the U.S. Hispanic market. The daily gossip program, “El Gordo y la Flaca” stars Ms. Estefan and Raúl de Molina and is Univision’s top-rated celebrity gossip show, marking its tenth anniversary this year. The Hispanic ad agency REVOLUCION saw a natural link between the two: the EX-S10 is the world’s smallest and thinnest 10.1 megapixel camera* and Lili Estefan is the Hispanic world’s favorite “Flaca”.

“I am so excited to be part of Casio’s first effort to reach out to the Latin community,” Estefan says. “I love to share my vacation photos on ‘El Gordo y La Flaca’, and this gives me an even better way to do it!”

The Hispanic world was introduced to Lili Estefan, niece of music producer Emilio Estefan, in 1986 when she joined the cast of “Sábado Gigante”, the leading international TV program, with 80 million weekly viewers. A Cuban native, Lili Estefan has gained worldwide popularity during her career as an entertainer and model.

“La Flaca is the perfect spokeswoman for Casio,” says Alberto Rodríguez, partner and chief creative officer at REVOLUCION. “Pairing the Hispanic world’s most famous ‘flaca’ with the world’s thinnest 10 mega-pixel digital camera paves the path for Casio’s first steps into the Hispanic marketplace.”

Through a series of dynamic and rich media banners, La Flaca showcases different EX-S10 benefits. All of the banners drive prospects to a custom Spanish-language website designed and programmed by REVOLUCION: www.laflacadecasio.com. The site details the camera’s features and offers a store locator function to drive prospective buyers to retail tie-in partners Best Buy and La Curacao, the powerhouse electronics retailer in the Hispanic market.

The EX-S10 has entered the Hispanic marketplace just in time for the memorable occasions of Father’s Day and graduation, as well as the Christian celebration of Confirmation, which many Hispanic families celebrate.

At less than one inch deep, the incredibly slim camera is easy for people to carry and shoot spontaneous snapshots and YouTube™-friendly videos. The 27″-wide, Super Clear LCD screen delivers high contrast and brightness. The camera also features YouTube™ Capture Mode, Drag-and-Drop for iTunes™, 10-megapixel resolution, 3x Optical Zoom, Auto Shutter, and a Movie Button.
