Trusted Reviews has posted a full review of the 12 megapixel Fujifilm Finepix F100fd.
It’s well made, easy to operate and has a feature set that appeals to the photographic savvy. However it would be nice to have some more manual control such as aperture and shutter, and a histogram would also be nice.

Imaging Resource has posted a review of the Canon Powershot A580.
Canon’s inexpensive A Series PowerShot still packs a DIGIC III, providing some very advanced features. It’s Easy mode makes it no problem to hand off but it does lack any manual control. Image quality was generally good, capturing natural color with excellent detail.

There are many options that are akin to SLR-like cameras. The fixed focal length lens might seem limiting at first, but this is something you get used to, even enjoy using. But the LCD screen is problematic, and […]

DC Resource has published a review of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5 is quite an impressive package. It’s not perfect, but it’s arguably the best camera in the “compact” ultra zoom class. From its 28 - 280 mm lens to its 720p movie mode, the TZ5 can do just about everything.
