Actually, canon will have improve specs alot from first generation 5D as it has to compete with incredibly good Nikon D700, they will have to put it at a similair price point also. If it costs more than that, you will buy a Nikon D3 for $5,000, if it costs less than a Nikon D700 ($3.000 bargain) then they won’t make much profit on it. They better come up with a kick ass 5D or lm switching teams and buying a Nikon D3 or D700, plus nikons metering and wide angle lenses has always been superior to Canons!!!

It’s a nice dream, but there’s no way Canon is going to blow the rest of their upper line out of the water with a camera with all of these specs for only $3500. If it happens, which I doubt, you’ll have to stand in line for a year just to get to hold one.

Wow, I cant wait, Just like I couldn’t wait the other 10 times a 5D MKII rumor managed get everyone excited but never delivered. This is complete BS , speculation, whatever you want to call it… This same thing has been brought up every 3 months for the last 1.5 years. So take this article for what it’s worth, NOTHING….

NEWS: The original Poster about this rumors points out that it should be 13 AF cross type sensors out of 29 rather than 12.
