I just got an email from Adorama on this deal. Buy a Kingston 4GB Elite Pro CF card for $40 and get $40 rebate for a final cost of $0.  Limit 1 per customer.

    The better the rebate, the less likely it will ever be fulfilled.

    False denials and bureaucratic runarounds are what you can expect from any offer like this.

    Experience has taught me that the amount of time, effort, and postage required to finally convince one of these rebate servicing companies to pay on a rebate is worth MORE to me than the money I would save with the rebate.

    I’ve bought 2 items throughout the years from Frys (not online) and never seen my mail in rebate before.

    I now only search for “instant rebates” and steer clear of those mail in rebates unless of course I didn’t care much about them. (like the 2 above)

    fyi all you rebate worriers, I bought on of these cards back in february (had to pay tax & shipping) and just got the rebate check last friday March 28th.
