Canon 5D Mark II Unofficially Official?
Written by Eric on November 18th, 2007 | 31 CommentsA poster over at fredmiranda.com forums pointed out that he was filling in the bug/feedback form on his Capture One beta 4 software when he noticed that the Canon 5D Mark II was an option to select as a camera model. If you recall, we saw similar leaks prior to the release of the Canon 40D earlier this year. Here’s a screen capture for the 5D Mark II:

On a bug report web page for a Capture One software, someone may have slipped, and as you can see, there’s a camera listed there on a drop-down list that doesn’t officially exist yet. Could this be a hint of things to come? The same thing happened before the Canon 40D was released a few months ago, and now it’s real. Months later, whats really new about the released of the 5D ? I’m really patient since october 2007 but I think that I’m getting crazy about the rumors
