Deal: SanDisk Extreme III CompactFlash Cards

Written by Eric Reagan on October 17th, 2007 | 0 Comments

Just got an email from B&H Photo about a deal on SanDisk Extreme III 16GB CF cards at $219.95, which is a pretty good deal considering Amazon is selling the same card for $235.

SanDisk Extreme III CompactFlash Cards are designed exclusively for the high-end, professional photographers who work under extreme conditions and expect the very best in products and support services.

This 16 Gigabyte CompactFlash Card has a minimum of 20MB/second sequential write and read speed (based on SanDisk internal testing), which allows for faster capturing of large image files to the card, faster viewing of images and faster data transfer rates.

This CompactFlash card is capable of storing over 2000 uncompressed images (shot at full resolution) when used in a 6-mega pixel camera, and over 1000 images in an 8-mega pixel camera (uncompressed, full resolution). Results will vary with make and model of digital camera.

Purchasing your camera gear through the links above helps support this site. Finally, if you’re thinking about buying a memory card over ebay, think again.
