Canon 5D Price Drops
Written by Eric Reagan on October 7th, 2007 | 4 CommentsThe Canon 5D’s price has dropped a couple of times over the past couple of weeks and can currently be had for $2299 at Amazon and B&H.
There’s a couple of things to be drawn from this. First, if you’re looking for a full frame digital camera, this is a heck of a time to snatch one of these up. Second, the announcement of the Canon 5D Mark II may be the reason for these recent significant price drops. I’ll keep up with all of the updates for the Canon 5D Mark II on this page.

I am a Canon customer and love the 5D and other Canon products. However, I have learned not to buy anything from Canon right after it comes out because within a fairly short period of time they will drop the original price down and knife their loyal customers who buy the new product in the back.
I paid $3200 for my 5D and now they are selling it for $2099.
Canon just shot my loyalty in the rear end !!
