Nikon D3 Available at Amazon

Posted on September 28, 2007 by Eric

UPDATE 10/1/07: A couple of readers (correctly) point out that the camera is sold through Beach Camera via Amazon and that the Beach Camera website actually has it on a “pre-order” status. (see comments below). Until Amazon catches on to this, you should consider your order to be only a pre-order only. Sorry to jump the gun folks.

ORIGINAL POST:

The Nikon D3 is showing in stock and ready to ship at Amazon. Check it out!

Amazon\'s page says it ships from Beach Camera. However, Beach Camera\'s page says it\'s not available till November.

Why did you delete my comment noting the same exact thing that Jeff did?

You need to edit this post and stop hyping crap. It just ruins your credibility. You did a great job keeping up with the new camera announcements recently, do screw it all up now by losing your readers over stupid crap like this.

Sorry Steve. I think I may have killed your earlier comment in batch action with some comment spam. I don\'t think there\'s a way to recover it.

You concern is duly noted and I\'ve updated the post accordingly. You and Jeff are spot on. I made this post a bit too quick before checking my sources. Thanks for keeping me on my toes and thanks for reading the blog.
