Full frame is the main reason. I simply love it. I do not film, so the different between both camera's is not so big for me. Ofcourse, more mp, some nice new features. I think these camera's are a very good buy for the money. If you are on a low budget, buy a good second hand 5D and you will be surprised. I own both the 5D and the 5D mark II.
