Sony α700 Mini-Site In Progress

Written by Eric Reagan on September 5th, 2007 | 2 Comments

It looks like Sony UK is in the process of turning on the Alpha 700 portion of its site. It’s been up and down for a few hours now.

Here’s what’s been gleaned form the the specs:

12.4 megapixel CMOS sensor backed by a BIONZ image processor, 3-inch, 921,000 pixel LCD, 3200 maximum ISO (with a ridiculous ISO 6400 “expanded mode”), 11 point autofocus, and wireless flash support.

More screen grabs:

Photoclub Alpha has a thorough post covering the leak.  I imagine that we’ll get the official word from Sony tomorrow.

I’ll keep you posted on the latest developments. Stay tuned.
