Hi. My two-year old 20D just gave out and now I'm borrowing my wife's backup Nikon D200 for my weekend wedding work. I will sure be one of the first to get the 40D. My hope is that Canon has made the viewfinder view larger as Nikon did with the D200. I find that I compose a bit better looking through the large viewfinder of the D200. I really don't care that much if they stayed with the 1.6x crop factor, it's the viewfinder area that I would really like to see improved, among other things, like weather-sealing (though I understand that won't happen with the 40D).

Hrmmmm..... Nice features, particularly the camera user settings which would be a nice addition allowing the user to program in quick settings for particular types of photography. I am still not sure this will get me to upgrade from my 20d though as I have really been waiting for a 5d mk II.
